Intel revealed Intel Skylake core i7 processor 6700k short specifications

Intel revealed about their new processor which is known as Intel Core i7 6700k processor. This is a 6th generation processor which should be launched in this August. This is the Intel Skylake core i7 processor which overclocked on 6700k and work on new chipset and new socket.

The new i7 processor is the quad-core processor which clock speed is 4 GHZ and if turbo boost is on then it speed increase to 4.2 GHz. This Skylake processor is 0.2 GHz slower than Core i7 4790K, but Skylake said this processor is 10% fast. this processor is also compared speed with previous models which the speed is increased to 20% as compared to 4770k and 30% as compare with 3770k. You can also increase the speed up to 5.2 GHz by air cooling.

This processor also have graphics core which is HD 530 and it is runs on 350 MHz and increase up to 1.15 GHz, support DirectX 12, 8 MB L3 cache. it support on DDR4-2133 MHz and DDR3L-1600 MHz.

To use Skylake processor with its full megahertz power you need Intel z170 and LGA 1151 socket. the chipset support DDr4 over clock, NVMe Express, PCI-E storage solution and USB 3.0 lanes.
